UNIVERSITY COURSE A "Bachelor of Ecological Agriculture" course is being run by Charles Sturt University at Orange in NSW. The course is the only one of its kind in Australia to offer subjects which address organic/biodynamic/Permaculture issues, and does so in the broader context of ecological approaches to agriculture. The course is endorsed by the OFA and is offered in the distance and internal mode, and therefore may satisfy the needs of SA people who wish to study these subjects but not leave home. more information, click here A FEW WEEKS AGO….. a builders salvage yard had old timber Jarrah floor beams and Oregon beams to give away for firewood. OK, you had to remove a few nails in some, but they were free. There was about a large truck load with most lengths 4 to 6m long. It was good for building projects as well. I don’t know why they were giving it away. Well they have just burnt it all. They wanted to tidy up their yard.
